This study examines Mat 3:7-12 concerning the tithes being brought into the storehouse. There is a beautiful symbolic truth in this passage. Tithes brought into the storehouse is symbolic of the salvation of God’s people, who receive an abundance of blessing in the kingdom of God. Tithing was required in the Mosaic Law, but these ceremonial laws were fulfilled by Christ and ‘nailed to the cross’. The tithe is a symbolic reference to God’s people. More specifically, the tithe is God’s Inheritance (the giving of His holy people as a remnant). The symbolic tenth of people symbolize those who are saved.
