- An a-millennial preterist is an inherent contradiction since a-millennialsim believes there is a future loosing of Satan which constitutes the tribulation. The tribulation is an event that all Preterists, by definition, do not believe in.
- A mid-tribulational pre-millennialist only slightly differs from the pre-tribulational variety in that the church will go through the first half of the tribulation (which is mild compared to the second half). Therefore, the mid-tribulationist is included in this category.
