Supernatural healing is very prevalent in Pentecostal churches and the Charismatic movement. However, these healing are dubious. Rather, healings were a gift that ceased after the apostolic church, which was used to write the New Testament. Supernatural healing today is a false sign. Healings in the Bible also serve as important portraits of spiritual truth. The condition of the one in need of healing symbolizes the condition of humans prior to salvation. And, the results of the healing (e.g., blind can see, the lame can walk, etc.) are spiritual symbols of the results of salvation.
