The 7th seal of the Revelation is opened and surprisingly, we find silence in heaven. What does this silence signify? This silence occurs for 1/2 hour just prior to the offering of prayers on the golden altar and the sending of fire upon the earth (Rev 8:1-5). This is followed by the first 6 of the 7 trumpets of the Revelation.
