The Parable of the separation of the sheep and the goats is very significant in prophecy. On the surface, the parable seems to teach salvation by good works. But, a careful study indicates that their is an important spiritual meaning of this parable. The hungry, thirsty, strangers, naked, sick and prisoners all have a symbolic meaning that points to what it means to be saved.
