Many Pentecostal and other charismatic independent churches believe in ‘prosperity theology’. Prosperity theology is known by many names. The fundament belief of this theology is that financial, material and healing blessings are always God’s will. By faith, positive confession and by seed faith giving (including tithing), Christians can claim these blessings. However, this teaching is not in accordance with the Bible. The Bible teaches that Christians should be content with a humble existence. They are not to desire riches and pleasures. God uses trials, suffering and other difficult circumstances in the lives of His people. But, God will never forsake them. Pentecostal belief in financial, material and healing blessings is a false sign. Click on link below to watch a You Tube video on this topic.
