The Prince of Tyre (Eze 28:1-10) is a Type of the Antichrist. The key characteristics and actions of this prince include pride and the desire for worldly wisdom and riches. Similar to the Man of Sin in 2 Th 2:3-4, he asserts that he is a god and sits in the seat of god (Eze 28:2, Eze 28:6). Also, the Bible teaches that the Prince of Tyre is wiser than Daniel and knows all secrets (Eze 28:3). In Eze 28, the Bible distinguishes the Prince of Tyre from the King of Tyre. The King of Tyre (Eze 28:11-19) is a type of Satan.
