Noah’s flood has significant prophetic meaning. Noah’s Flood is a type of the upcoming Great Tribulation and the Last Day of Judgment. As discussed in Luke 17, as were the days of the flood, so will be the coming of the Son of Man (Jesus Christ). The Last Day will be unexpected by most. The Flood is also a symbol of God’s judgment on the wicked (unsaved) people. But, it is also a beautiful portrait of salvation for those in the ark.
