The Little Horn of Daniel 8 is a symbol for the Antichrist. Additionally, the Antichrist inaugurates the Great Tribulation (2 Th 2:3-4). At this time, the ‘Abomination of Desolation is set up. The Little Horn of Dan 8 is rooted in the Grecian kingdom. But, the Greco-Roman culture (politics, law, wisdom, etc.) exists to this day. The little horn is a king of fierce (harsh) countenance. Also, he knows the Word of God, but deceives. The little horn magnifies himself to the Prince of princes. And, he opposes Jesus Christ as the Antichrist. Satan empowers the little horn (Dan 8:24, Rev 13:2). finally, the little horn controls a demonic host to carry out his will (Dan 8:10-11,24).
