Last Day Studies on this Website
The order of prophetic events in the Bible is: the Church Age, the Great Tribulation, the Last Day and Eternity (see Prophecy Chart). False prophecies such as ‘premillennialism’ confuse the simplicity of end-time Bible prophecy by inventing a ‘secret rapture’, multiple returns of Jesus Christ and multiple judgment days as well as teaching false concerning the Antichrist and the nature of the Great Tribulation. Also, they usually assign Babylon to a future time after the ‘rapture of Christians’ and therefore, do not understand that Babylon is a symbol for false Christianity (false churches and para-churches). A reason that they confuse prophecy is often due to not understanding the correct method of interpreting prophecy in a symbolic manner. When the Bible is interpreted correctly, it can be recognized that there are many symbolic descriptions of the Last Day. Also, all these events are concurrent and happen in a ‘twinkling of an eye’ (1 Cor 15:52):
• Last Day
• Day of the Lord • Day of God • Day of Christ • Day of the Lord Jesus • His Day • Day of Salvation • Judgment Day • Day of Wrath • Day of Anger • Day of Vengeance • Day of Redemption • That Day |
• Day of Trumpet and Alarm
• Day of Trouble • Day of Jacob’s Trouble • Day of Distress • Day of Waste • Day of Desolation • Day of Darkness • Day of Gloom • Day of Clouds • Day of Whirlwind • Day of Astonishment • Day of Visitation • Day of Sacrifice |
