In Matthew 12:9-14, the Bible reveals that Jesus Christ healed a man with a withered hand. This was a supernatural healing of Jesus Christ. Supernatural healings were prevalent in the time of Christ and the Apostolic Age. However, supernatural healings ceased once the New Testament and the Bible was completed. Pentecostals do not understand that these healings also had a spiritual meaning, which is completely relevant for Christians today. The healing of the man with a withered hand has important spiritual meaning. The had is a symbol for the ‘will’ of a person. This will is withered such that humans can never exercise saving faith. But, when our hand (will) is healed, a person is caused by God to be saved. Click on link below to watch a You Tube video on this topic.
