Goliath despised David. The Bible tells us that Goliath saw David as a young, ruddy and beautiful person. But, what is the spiritual meaning of this? Giants are discussed in the Bible. These giants in the Bible were extremely tall and powerful people. However, giants in the Bible also have an important spiritual meaning. They symbolize proud, mighty adversaries (enemies) of God’s people who are used to test the faith of God’s people. Goliath, the Rephaim Giant is the most famous Bible giant.
