An important plank of Pentecostal doctrine is that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit occurs after salvation. One of their arguments to support this is that the disciples were already saved prior to their baptism in the Holy Spirit. However, when the Bible is closely examined, we find that the disciples were ‘saved’ when they were Baptized in the Holy Spirit. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit occurred on the Day of Pentecost after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Prior to the Day of Pentecost, the disciples were chosen (elected) and called, but not yet saved (i.e., Baptized in the Spirit). To learn more, please click on You Tube video link below.
