In Acts 18-19, there is an important passage concerning the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. When Apollos came to Ephesus, the ‘believers’ were only baptized in water, but were not ‘saved’ yet. But, when Paul arrived later, they were baptized in the Holy Spirit and were saved by the power of God. This passage is often misinterpreted by Pentecostals. They use this passage to assert that Baptism in the Spirit is a second blessing for special Christians. This is not true. All Christians are Baptized in the Holy Spirit.
