2300 Days of the Abomination of Desolation: The Little Horn of Daniel 8 is a symbol for the Antichrist. The revealing of the Antichrist inaugurates the Great Tribulation (2 Th 2:3-4). At this time the ‘daily’ activities of Christian life (i.e., Bible study, prayer, service to God, etc.) are replaced by the Abomination of Desolation. The Abomination of Desolation results in the destruction of the church due to worshiping other gods and idols (worldliness). But, why does the Bible teach this time period will last 2300 days?
